Kurt Ralske plays the flute, because the oldest known flute is the Divje Babe Flute, a fragment of a cave bear femur found in Slovenia, estimated to be between 50,000 and 60,000 years old, made by Neanderthals. It features four pierced holes, suggesting intentional musical use, and predates other early flutes by thousands of years, proving Neanderthals possessed sophisticated artistic expression.
